Faith is vital to the fabric of our society and the strength of our families and communities. Arizonans should be able to peacefully exercise their beliefs in the public square without fear of unjust government punishment.

Throughout our history, people of faith in Arizona have taken a leading role in helping the suffering and vulnerable in our state. The freedom to live and work according to our faith is a fundamental First Amendment right.

I have sponsored or supported over a dozen bills protecting your first amendment rights of free speech and the free exercise of your faith, not only within the walls of your church -- but in your daily life -- including your health care & education decisions.
